Steak and egg breakfast:
2 beef chuck steaks, thin cut
Salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder, to taste
3-4 c water, boiling
1 tsp vinegar
—— Begin boiling water and add vinegar. Reduce heat to a slow boil, medium high heat. Crack egg in a small bowl or large spoon and gently slide them into the water, one at a time. Let cook until egg whites are no longer transparent, about 8 minutes. Use the spoon to gently move the egg around so it doesn’t stick to the bottom
** too many bubbles will break up the egg whites so you want a slow boil to cook it but not move it around too much.
—— season the steak on both sides to your taste. in a pan on medium high heat, add a drizzle of olive oil and sear the steak on both sides until cooked to your preference. Top the steak with a poached egg and serve. Enjoy!
